The name was coined by founder Dr. Beatrix Förster and refers to colostrum as one of nature's most primal nutrients, as well as the vibrant colors of the Indian Holi festival as a symbol for radiant, healthy-looking skin.

Dr. Beatrix Förster
Dr. Beatrix Förster studied human biology and began researching colostrum as an active ingredient for skincare during her studies. She was awarded the KfW Entrepreneurs' Prize for this idea. This led to the creation of Holiko – with the aim of translating the potential of colostrum into a skincare line for sensitive skin.
